Somtimes its better then Fishing

Sometimes when I head out to the river or lake to do some much needed catfishing. I do not do to good because the bite is slow or the fish just aren't biting at all. I use this time to clean up the areas that I like to fish the most. You wouldn't believe how many people come in and trash the out doors.. They have no respect for other people or for Mother Nature. These people make me sick to my stomach. I haven't figured out exactly why they do it or what their thought process is yet. Maybe I will figure it out one day. I have picked up everything from Beer cans, Baby diapers, TV's, Tires you name it and people will dump it off in places were it is suppose to be beautiful nature scenery and quiet clean areas. It really saddens me to see this :( Here is a short video of one of the instances I encountered earlier this December.

After cleaning up this spot I moved to another spot to try some more fishing and it was trashed even worse then this spot :( I went ahead and cleaned it all up as well. I used every bag in my truck and ended up have to just start putting stuff in my truck to haul away. I hope that this short blog opens a few peoples eyes and get other people out cleaning up our children and Grandchildren's future fishing spots.
